Two builders from Ontario. The U.S. business started with a conversation on a beach in Naples, Florida.
Mat came from a family of carpenters and finished his apprenticeship straight out of high school. He got approved for his first mortgage at 18, then became a realtor who only worked with investors in Kitchener-Waterloo. He grew that into 50 homes owned with partners and was flipping up to 24 houses a year. Then he hit the ceiling.
Andrew holds an HBA from Ivey and spent years as a general contractor, building more than 50 homes. He has also worked as a mortgage broker and raised capital. He hosted a real estate podcast with over a million downloads and wrote a #1 Amazon bestseller. Today he runs his U.S. land and house business between Burlington, Ontario and Naples, Florida.
